The River Orwell
The River Orwell is one of the crown jewels of the east coast. This beautiful, deep water river runs gracefully east from Ipswich town into the Stour estuary. A particular favourite amongst east coast sailors for centuries, the scenic anchorages of the Orwell offer a halcyon respite after negotiating the shoals and swatchways of the coast. A kind and experienced instructor guides you out of the Crouch, up the coast and into the Stour estuary; but from here where will you go? Up to Ipswich Docks? Back in time to Pin Mill? Or maybe pay a visit the Royal Harwich Yacht Club! The choice is yours. The price of this adventure includes all food onboard, waterproofs etc
Joining instructions are sent out a week prior to the trip.
