It’s that time of year again!

After weeks of planning and preparation, Premier Sailing’s multiple award-winning sail4macmillan Round Britain cruise, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, has begun.

Galliver II, as seen by the crew of Monet

After setting sail from our new base in Burnham Marina on bank holiday Monday Galliver II, Florence Agnes II and Monet made for their first overnight stop at Shotley. On Tuesday morning, following a hearty breakfast on board, our crews depart for their second day at sea. With fair winds, they are making good progress along the east coast, with speeds of 7-8 knots across the water and smooth seas making for a pleasurable sail northward to the Royal Norfolk and Suffolk Yacht Club in Lowestoft.

You can follow the progress of the cruise in real-time on the map below. We have set the map to follow Monet automatically, but you can use the search tool to find Galliver II or Florence Agnes II if you wish.

If you wish to support our crews on their voyage, and help Macmillan Cancer Support continue their vital work with those affected by cancer, please follow this link to our justgiving page:

Thank you.

Premier Sailing would also like to thank all of our sponsors for this year’s endeavours. Their generous donations have all gone straight to Macmillan, so they can help those who need it most.
