Sailing from Burnham on Crouch, home of east coast sailing, you will experience this amazing coastline. Made famous by ex prime minister Edward Heath and royal patronage Burnham is known as a centre of yachting and an ideal starting point for this exciting trip. Arriving in Southwold we will berth outside the Harbour inn and perhaps enjoy locally caught fresh fish for dinner. This trip is a sixty mile passage and requires skilled navigation as we move from the Essex swatchways and marshes to the rolling hills of Suffolk before entering the unique River Blyth that separates Southwold from Walberswick. This trip is ideal for Novices and Yachtmasters alike and can be used as a Yachtmaster Qualifying passage.
