Channel Crossing

A brilliant opportunity not only to work on your navigation skills, but also to enjoy some great  cuisine at the Royal North Sea Yacht Club, and explore the centre of Belgium's biggest seaside resort. This trip is ideal for anyone from novice to would-be Yachtmaster and mile-builders alike. You can skipper a leg of over 60 miles (a yachtmaster qualifying passage) and gain precious experience of sailing across a shipping lane. We have three double cabins so, with only three customers on board, you can come on your own or with your partner. We will visit Ostend, Dunkerque and Ramsgate, negotiating the Goodwin Sands and the sandbanks of the Thames Estuary.  Your Yachtmaster Instructor is there to guide you if necessary and you can partake in as much of the navigation and sailing as you wish.

Join the night before the trip sails to prepare the passage plan and meet your crewmates.

Full joining instructions will be sent out a week before the trip starts.
