Our “Experience of the year” award winning team will ensure every activity we provide is tailored to your business’s specific needs. Our team have been both customers and providers of events for many years. Be-it a staff training day, team event or board awayday (or days) Premier Sailing provides a safe and exciting programme suitable for all.
Our unique position, less than an hour from London, is in the heart of the East Coasts premier sailing centre of Burnham on Crouch. Burnham was made famous in the 1960’s and 70’s when many famous yachtsman such as HRH the Duke of Edinburgh an the Prime Minister Edward Heath frequented the area. The Royal Corinthian Yacht Club with its listed waterfront building, pontoons and function rooms provide a beautiful venue to complement our matched yachts.

An Events programme may include:
 Matched classic Sigma 38 Yacht or Yachts,
 Provision of a Premier Sailing Skipper.
 Wet weather gear and all safety equipment.
 Tea, coffee and bacon rolls on arrival at Burnham Marina Swallowtail Restaurant.
 Light lunch on board your yacht.
 Tea, coffee, fruit teas, de-caf coffee and water.
 Dinner at the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club.
 Return transport to Burnham Marina
 All communication with participants and management of the event.

An example of a recent single-day programme
• 8:30am: Breakfast on arrival at the marina and introduction to skippers.
• 9.30am: Stow kit onboard yachts followed by a safety brief and yacht
familiarisation. Depart for morning sail.

• 12.30pm: Lunch on board.
• 2pm: Light hearted race begins.
• 5pm: Moor at the Royal Corinthian pontoon
• 6pm Dinner either in the Bistro or function room
• 9pm Return and hand over yachts.
• 9.30pm: Guests depart at their leisure.

We endeavour to supply as much of what you need as possible. We supply wet weather gear – but not footwear.

So here is a guide as to what you might bring:

  • A towel
  • Any essential medication
  • Please ensure you have plenty of warm clothing bearing in mind that it is colder out on the water, and you may get wet
  • A pair of non-marking deck shoes or trainers
  • Sailing gloves [optional]
  • Waterproof clothing (unless you have asked us to provide it)
  • Sunscreen, sunhat and sunglasses / warm hat, gloves
